1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Computer Escape Quest Room Toronto ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our escape room facility, services, and website. By booking a session, entering our facility, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

We provide immersive computer-themed escape room experiences that combine technology challenges, virtual reality missions, algorithmic puzzles, and team-based problem-solving activities. Our services include:

• AI Algorithm Challenge rooms
• Cryptography and code-breaking experiences
• Virtual reality mission scenarios
• Network security simulation exercises
• Team building and corporate events
• Educational programs for schools and institutions

3. Booking and Reservations

3.1 Booking Requirements

All bookings must be made through our official website, phone, or email. We require advance booking for all sessions. Walk-ins are subject to availability.

3.2 Payment Terms

Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. We accept major credit cards and electronic payment methods. All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes.

3.3 Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled session are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows will forfeit the full payment.

4. Participant Requirements and Safety

4.1 Age Requirements

Participants under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 12 may have limited access to certain technical challenges for safety and complexity reasons.

4.2 Health and Safety

Participants must be in good physical and mental health. Our experiences may involve:

• Extended screen time and digital interfaces
• Virtual reality equipment usage
• Problem-solving under time pressure
• Team collaboration in enclosed spaces

4.3 Medical Conditions

Participants with epilepsy, claustrophobia, heart conditions, or other medical concerns should consult with our staff before participating. VR experiences are not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with severe motion sensitivity.

5. Rules of Conduct

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, participants must:

• Follow all safety instructions provided by our staff
• Handle all equipment with care and respect
• Not attempt to damage or tamper with technology systems
• Respect other participants and maintain appropriate language
• Not bring food, drinks, or personal electronic devices into challenge rooms
• Comply with photography and recording policies

6. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to puzzles, algorithms, game designs, software, graphics, and educational materials, are the intellectual property of Computer Escape Quest Room Toronto or our licensors. Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our proprietary content.

7. Privacy and Data Collection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy. We may record sessions for quality assurance and training purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Computer Escape Quest Room Toronto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific session in question.

9. Technology Disclaimer

While we strive to maintain our technology systems in optimal condition, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. Technical difficulties, software malfunctions, or equipment failures may occasionally occur. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative experiences or appropriate compensation.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government regulations, power outages, or public health emergencies.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The unenforceable provision shall be replaced with an enforceable provision that most closely reflects the original intent.
