Our Story
Founded in 2024 by a team of passionate computer scientists and game developers, Computer Escape Quest Room Toronto emerged from a simple yet revolutionary idea: what if we could create immersive experiences that combine the thrill of escape rooms with real-world computer science challenges?
Our founders, Dr. Alexandra Petrov and Marcus Chen, met during their PhD studies at the University of Toronto's Department of Computer Science. Frustrated by the gap between theoretical learning and practical application in tech education, they envisioned a space where people could experience programming, algorithms, and cybersecurity concepts through hands-on, collaborative challenges.
Starting with a small facility on King Street West, we quickly gained recognition for our innovative approach to technology education and entertainment. What began as weekend workshops for computer science students has evolved into Toronto's premier destination for corporate team building, educational field trips, and tech enthusiast gatherings.
Today, we proudly serve over 15,000 participants annually, offering more than 25 unique scenarios that span artificial intelligence, cryptography, virtual reality, and network security.
